Wish granters got to work transforming the small space into a high-tech studio — complete with recording equipment, dual screen computer monitors and state-of-the-art editing software. A mural decorates a corner of the room, showing a dark, graffitied tunnel with a bright light at the end — a symbol of Wesley’s strength and perseverance.
“Wesley recently had an unexpected relapse, but he’s dealing with it differently this time,” said Wesley’s mom, Jackie. “He goes to the new studio as a distraction, to take a break from everything. It’s made a difference in my attitude, too. I feel so much better knowing my son isn’t trapped in his room, but is finding freedom with his online friends thanks to the studio.”
Thank you, Subaru, for bringing Wesley hope, strength and joy by helping to make his wish come true.
